A commissioned piece of artwork is a unique opportunity to capture something or someone special onto canvas, forever, whether for yourself or as the perfect gift.

For that reason, accuracy and authenticity is key, and my process is designed to enable this.

The process begins with a brief, to fully understand your aspirations, requirements and preferences. I will take photos and make sketches on location or use your photos if necessary.

Given the detail required in replicating a horse or other animal’s complex muscles, fur, colour and tone, the more photos and closer I can get to the horse, rider or animal or the better. This enables me to perfectly reflect the beautiful details and nuances of the subject.

Prices will vary depending on the type of portrait, canvas size and background.
